Born on June 5th, 1952, in Lorain, Dennis was a proud lifelong resident of his beloved city. He graduated from Admiral King High School in 1970, marking the beginning of a journey deeply intertwined with the fabric of Lorain's community life.
Dennis was renowned for his expertise as a welder, dedicating over three decades of service to US Steel. Additionally, he occasionally lent his skills to P.C. Campana, enriching his career with diverse experiences. However, it was his passion for bartending, particularly alongside his older brothers, Larry & Keith, that brought him immense joy. Together, they graced numerous wedding receptions, leaving behind cherished memories for countless couples.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dennis was actively involved in shaping the lives of others. He found fulfillment in coaching CYO Basketball at St. Vincent DePaul, dedicating his time and wisdom to guiding young athletes during his children's school years.
Dennis's love for sports was undeniable, with a fervent devotion to Cleveland's teams. As a longtime season pass holder of the Cleveland Browns, he relished every game day, often accompanied by his son and brothers. He also found joy in supporting the Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, and, of course, Ohio State University athletics.
Amidst his busy life, Dennis found solace in the camaraderie of Oakwood Park's softball leagues and his membership in the Slovak Club, where he fostered lifelong friendships and shared laughter with fellow members.
Dennis A. Reber will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his community, and his passions. His vibrant spirit, kind heart, and infectious laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his son, Dennis, Jr. (Amy) Reber, of Lake County; daughter, Michelle (Joseph) Koroski, of Lorain; 5 grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
