Devin Nicole Jarvis' Obituary
Devin Nicole Jarvis, 36, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 18, 2025, under the compassionate care of New Life Hospice, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Painesville, Ohio, on October 13, 1988, Devin was a 2007 graduate of North Ridgeville High School. She continued her education at the University of Toledo, earning her undergraduate degree in 2010, and went on to achieve her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2013.
Devin found her calling in serving others through her work as a physical therapist with Sprenger Nursing Homes. She had a particular passion for helping patients with Parkinson’s Disease, dedicating herself to advanced training and certification that allowed her to teach and advocate on behalf of those living with the condition. Her dedication was honored in 2020 when she received the Parkinson’s Foundation Great Lakes Hero Award.
Despite facing her own health challenges, Devin bravely shared her journey with cancer in hopes of offering strength and inspiration to others. Her openness and honesty left a lasting impact on those who knew her and many she never met.
Devin’s greatest joy was her family. Her husband and two sons were the light of her life. She found happiness in the little and big moments—traveling, hiking, camping, attending concerts, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. She lived with purpose, love, and a heart full of grace.
