Dianne Thuemling Anderson's Obituary
Dianne Thuemling Anderson age 72 passed away after a brief illness Dec. 2nd, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born April 19, 1952 in Lakewood Ohio. She was an active member of Little Edna Old Regular Baptist Church in Sheffield Township and a graduate of North Olmstead High School in 1970. She lived most of her life in Lorain and spent her childhood in Cleveland & North Olmstead. Dianne made every occasion special for her friends and family. She loved to cook and was very talented with crafts and making everything beautiful. She had such an amazing and giving heart. She was especially good friends with everyone at George’s restaurant where she spent a lot of her time. She had various jobs and talents throughout her life before retirement.
Left to mourn her death are her daughters Kimberly Anderson (Marshall Stull) of Lorain and Angie Anderson (Al Greiner) of Lorain, and her son Kenneth Anderson of Elyria. She had four grandchildren; Zachary (Abbey) Anderson of Elyria, Savannah Anderson of Fort Wayne, IN, Brittney Groselj of Sheffield Township and Kenneth Joseph Ty Groselj of Sheffield Township. She had one great grandson, Arsie Thompson III, better known as “Junebug.” Also mourning is her loss is her loving sister Shirley (Alvin) Turner of Elyria, nieces Michelle (Daniel) Treers and Anita Turner, nephews Eddie (Dawn) Turner, Tony (Jeanette) Turner, George (Lisa) Turner, Alvin Jr. (Katie) Turner and Michael (Andrea) Turner.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Anderson whom which loved and adored. Still mourning his passing, her heart was broken. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Stephen Thuemling, parents Edward J. Smith & Helen L. (Renick) Smith, sister Janice Smith and step-mother Milada Smith.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 from 2 -7 pm at Little Edna Old Regular Baptist Church, 5160 Bond Avenue, Lorain, OH 44055.Funeral service will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church, Brother Larry Newsome will be officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross, Brook Park.. Arrangements are under the care of Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, Amherst.
