I had the great honor of spending time with Donald Wayne Hardman in his final weeks. It will be time I will treasure forever. He got annoyed when I wasn't gonna be able to come for one of our visits and I was setting the schedule and I asked if this was OK. He said " I guess I don't have a choice, do I? " Needless to say I chose to make it there on the day I wasn't suppose to and he was so grateful. And I'm so glad I did. I could see how much he looked forward to the visits. Whenever he called, he would always say, "This is Donald Wayne Hardman" as if I had never talked to him before. I know he meant a lot to many people and that means he lived a rich life. Rest easy my friend, I'm sure Alice was there to meet with you again. Thank you for being in my world, it meant a lot.
