Donald D. Sells Sr.'s Obituary
Donald D. Sells, Sr., age 91, of Sheffield Lake, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after living a long life.
He was born on September 18, 1923 and resided in Crossville, TN until coming to the Lorain area in the early 1950’s. He served in the US Air Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jewel (nee Branscum); his sons, Wayne (Cathy), of Pinegrove, KY, Donald Jr., of Sheffield Lake, and Jeffrey (Barbara), Raeford, NC; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Laura Sells and his brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 6th from 1-2 p.m. in the chapel at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd., Avon, where burial will be following the services.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, handled the arrangements.
