Donald Thompson's Obituary
Donald Thompson, age 78, of Lorain passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Mercy Life Hospice.
He was born on March 5, 1939 in Hundred, West Virginia to Roy and Georgia (nee Teagarden) Thompson.
Donald worked as a painter for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1986 after 25 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars, home cooking and he loved his beloved dog, Buster.
He is survived by his sons, Brian Thompson and Mark Thompson, both of Lorain; his companion, Roseann Everett; sisters, Ola Mae Ott, of Sheffield Lake, and Shirley Brown, of Erie, PA; and his brother-in-law, Dorsey Clapper.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Georgia; brother, Roy; and sisters, Nancy Clapper, and Marcena Bowen.
Private family funeral services were held under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001.
