Donna was a 1962 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lorain. She married Edward Dugan on October 9, 1965, and together they raised their family in Lorain.
Donna worked as a cashier for Lorain Catholic High School in the early 90’s. Being a mother and homemaker brought her much joy from being the cheer mom to the football, basketball, and baseball mom. Donna and her sister, Joann, shared a special relationship. They were the best of friends and especially loved their outings to various tea rooms. She loved the beach, traveling to Las Vegas, enrolling in sweepstakes, going on cruises, and entertaining her family and friends around the holidays. Above all and most importantly, she loved the time she spent with her grandchildren supporting all their endeavors.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 55 years, Ed Dugan; children, Kelly (Randy) Reber, Colleen (Scott) Schuenaman, Chris (Renee) Dugan, and Erin (Rob) Krause; her grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Reber, Brian Schuenaman, Emily and John Dugan, and Jacob and Madison Krause; sister, Joann Furiga; and her brother, Eugene ( and dear friend, Peggy) Szakats.
