Grandma it has been one year today. I wish I could say that it has gotten easier but I can't. Although, I do find comfort knowing you are looking down on me. You were one of the most amazing people I have ever met! They just don't make 'em like you anymore! I will never forget your smile, laugh, love, and spirit. I am so sorry for your loss. Dottie was wonderful, and was, without a doubt, the most kind person I've ever known. Dottie always had a smile for everyone, and had the most infectious laugh! I will miss seeing her and am so grateful that she was able to come to Erin & Nick's wedding this past July. We are all better for having known and loved her. What a corky sense of humor and affinity for all living things. I will treasure the recipes she wrote down for me and her macaroni & cheese will be hard to make without a few tears. While I have not seen Dorothy in many years,the blue eyes and brilliant smile in her picture reminded me of school days at St. Mary's. She added so much joy to all those around her. I also have fond memories of both Jim and Bill. Our school days were special. My sympathy and prayers are with her family.
