Teri, and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have wonderful memories of your Mom when we were neighbors. Having her as our next door neighbor was a blessing, we couldn't have gotten any luckier. I remember fun 4th of July backyard picnics with Dottie always smiling and putting up with our mischief. She would jump up laughing saying 'Oh you kids' and chase us after we put smoke bombs under her seat, only to return to her seat and we would 'sneak up' again! She had a huge heart and was always welcoming to everyone. She was one of a kind and gave me precious memories to carry with me through life. What a great to gift to leave behind from such a beautiful woman.

Dottie was such a special lady. She always had a smile on her face. You would never know anything was wrong because she was always so happy. She was the person that introduced me to walleye bites. I still remember her standing by the counter frying them up in her Fry Daddy. Even though I lived near the lake, I never knew what walleye was until I was in high school 😳LOL. I also learned the value of an Airstream RV through Dottie. I remember pulling up in your driveway seeing what looked like this huge silver bullet. I remember saying, what the heck is that? Is she signaling outer space?! LOL Then I realized that’s the top-of-the-line RV that I would one day want in the future 😂😂

I remember one time going to West Virginia, we were at uncle Kenneth house, Dottie went into the hot tub after drinking a few beers and when she tried to get out she could hardly walk, moral of the story is don’t go in the hot tub for too long after drinking. We laughed so hard about it. At the end of the evening Dottie left the mailman her bra on the mailbox, uncle Kenneth found it the next morning. Will miss the stories she told along with the fun times. I know my dad and her are drinking margaritas in heaven. Rest in peace Aunt Dottie.

Growing up in a large family we had lots of Aunts. There is always one that becomes your favorite. Aunt Dottie was mine. She was always the life of the party! She she would be the one to get a tattoo or go parasailing! She loved living life!! She loved to cook and drink an adult beverage with you! If we were coming to West Virginia and wasn't arriving until late afternoon or evening she would have a big pot of spaghetti in the stove waiting for us! If were were arriving in the morning she always had her famous sausage gravy and biscuits waiting for us to devour! Many times, we would arrive at 2 or 3 in the morning. Aunt Dottie would be sitting at the kitchen table playing cards with a pot of coffee for me. We would finish off the pot and then she would look at me and say,"now let's drink a beer!" And we would!! So as I am posting this I have a drink in my hand to toast to you Aunt Dottie! THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES. YOU WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED BUT FORVER IN MY HEART! I LOVE YOU! 💋
