Drew C. Hayden's Obituary
Drew C. Hayden, age 9, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born on December 29, 2006 in Cleveland, Ohio to Matt and Julie (nee Zapolski) Hayden and was a third grade student at Harris Elementary School in Amherst, Ohio.
Drew was a full of life boy with a wonderful imagination. He loved playing football, riding his bike, swimming, fishing, playing legos, kickball, Star Wars and playing video games. He liked “Cool Old Cars” and was a roller coaster junkie. He loved helping his dad “fix things” around the house.
He is survived by his parents, Matt Hayden and Julie Hayden; grandparents, Kenneth and Patricia Zapolski and Dan Hayden; aunt, Danielle Goodell; uncles, Mark (Kim) Hayden; Kenny Zapolski and Brian (Nicole) Zapolski; cousins, Hayden Goodell, Ava Zapolski, Halle Zapolski and Olivia Zapolski.
Drew was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Hayden.
The Hayden family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 22nd. at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
