Duane A Fogo's Obituary
Duane A. Fogo, age 55, of Sheffield Lake, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Born on April 11, 1959 in Lorain, he graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst in 1978. In 1987 he made Sheffield Lake his home.
Since November, 2013, Duane worked as a cutter and stamper at Republic Steel in Lorain. Prior to that, he worked many years as a truck driver, most recently having worked the past 10 years for Vitran Express in Cleveland.
Duane was a member of Church of the Open Door, Elyria. He enjoyed watching movies, working around the house and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pat; his son, Samson (Kathy), of Sheffield Lake; his daughters, Wendy, of Blythewood, SC and Amy, of Sheffield Lake; his grandchildren, Dominic and Serenity; his mother, Jenny (nee Razzano), of FL; his twin brother, Dean (Ana), of FL and his sister, Diane (Glenn) Fogo-Harter, of FL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel.
The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at the Church of the Open Door, 43275 Telegraph Road, Elyria, where a memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bob Wickens will officiate.
