Edward J. Krevinko's Obituary
Edward John Krevinko, age 67, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 17, 2018.
He was born on March 24, 1951 in Lorain to the late Peter K. and Elizabeth (nee Dolinsky) Krevinko. He is a 1969 graduate of Admiral King High School and worked in the rolling mill at US Steel for 34 years, finally retiring at the age of 53.
Ed treasured his time he and his wife, “Toots” spent together, doing everything and anything, especially camping. Together, they would spend countless hours sitting outside just watching nature. Ed’s other pleasure in life were his grandchildren and spending time with them.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, the love of his life for the past 30 years, Therese M. “Toots” (Biacsi), his children; Deborah Krevinko, of Amherst, Gary (Nikki) Demian, of Denver, CO, and Andrew (Katie) Demian, of Olmsted Falls, his grandchildren; Nick, Thomas “Big T’, Nathan “Nate the Skate”, Lawson, Paisley, Ryker, and Amelia, his great grandchild, Kameron, a brother, Victor (Janette) Krevinko, and sister, Elaine Harasty.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, from 4 – 8 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, at 10:00 am, also in the funeral center. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
