Elaine R. Sanner's Obituary
Elaine R. Sanner (nee Addis), age 70, of Lorain passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at her home following a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Lorain, Ohio on March 25, 1944 and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1962 and later attended Lorain County Community College.
Elaine was a member of Bakers Union Local 19, T.O.P.S. and enjoyed the monthly meetings she attended. She was also a member of the Beaver Creek Boat Club in Lorain for many years. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite destination was Las Vegas.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Rick) Adkins, of Lorain; sons, James K. Sanner II, of Lorain and John Sanner, of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James K. Sanner; her parents, Raymond and Betty (nee Feightner) Addis; her brothers, Ronnie Powell and Dennis Powell.
Per her request, Elaine was cremated and no services were held.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, Amherst, OH.
