Elaine C. Weber's Obituary
Elaine Carol Weber (nee Anderson), age 70, of Amherst, passed away at Specialty Hospital of Lorain after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
She was born in Cleveland on March 18, 1952 and has lived most of her life in Lorain County, most recently Amherst, and is a 1970 graduate of Collinwood High School. Elaine was extremely proud of her involvement and being a director of Safety Town in Sheffield Lake for 20 years. Along with Safety Town, she was also Secretary/Treasurer for the family business, The Watson Carpet Company. Nothing made her happier though than being a wife, mother, and grandmother (“Nini”). She put her heart and soul into her family and caring for them with love. She especially enjoyed spending quality time with her grandbabies. She also made sure to attend their countless sporting events to support and cheer them on. Another one of Elaine’s loves was tending to her beautiful flowers and gardens. Elaine and her husband were travel enthusiasts, being fortunate to take many vacations, especially their multiple trips to her favorite place, Disney World.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Terrence; children, Theresa (Todd) Upton, of Sheffield Lake, Cindy (John) Cain, of Amherst, Michael (Alisue) Weber, of Sheffield Lake, and Traci (Art) Lara, of Sheffield Lake; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings, Dolores (Jerry) Leskovec and Kenneth (Sharon) Anderson. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Evelyn (nee Wichman) Anderson; granddaughter, Faith Weber; and sisters, Janice Giurbino and Barbara Anderson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 9th, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the time of her memorial service at 7:00 pm at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. To send an online condolence, please visit www.dovinreberjones.com
