Eleanor F. Linn's Obituary
Eleanor F. Linn, age 90 of Amherst passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
She was born on August 30, 1928 in Hickley, Ohio to Joseph and Linnie (nee Cox) Wilson. She graduated from Wakeman High School.
Eleanor was a homemaker and took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She really enjoyed attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall. Riding her bicycle, playing uno, shopping and baking also brought her joy.
She is survived by her son, Rodney (Aimee) Linn, of LaGrange; daughters, Debbie (Larry) Abraham, of Lorain, and Dawn (Anthony) Karnik, of Lorain; daughter-in-law, Janet Linn; grandchildren, Chris Trimpey, Jason McGranor, Kevin McGranor, Cameron Karnik, Jayden Karnik, Ashley Linn, and Corey Linn; great-grandchildren, Meagan, Hailey, and Samantha Trimpey, Carlee McGranor, Audrey and Charlotte Gula, Devin and Hannah Linn; and her sister, Irene Ferriman.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 2010; sons, Ronald and Daniel Linn; daughter Diane Linn; and brothers and sisters, Clyde, Dale, Bryce, Edith, and Evelyn.
The Linn family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
