Elizabeth J. Mason's Obituary
Elizabeth J. Mason, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
She was born on April 5, 1940 in Elyria, Ohio to the late Oscar and Helen (nee Fraley) West and graduated from Berea High School in 1958.
Elizabeth was a homemaker who enjoyed singing and baking, especially her famous pies and cookies. She was a very giving and generous soul who loved doing things for others rather than doing for herself. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James, of Oberlin; daughters, Dagney (Mark Fahringer) Engler, of Oberlin, Diane Mason, of Oberlin, and Dawn (Mark) Lundblad, of Macedonia; grandchildren, Laura, Royal, Molly, Abbie, Isak, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Dominique and Rylee; brother, Donald West; and sisters, Pat Westland, Helen Marie Lawer, and Phyllis Shaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Gerald West.
A memorial service will be held for Elizabeth on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kipton Community Church, 511 Church Street, Kipton, OH 44049. Pastor Lee Stull will officiate.
