Ellianna Gene Smith's Obituary
Ellianna Gene Smith, a vibrant and imaginative soul, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the tender age of 12. Born on January 29, 2013, in Fairview, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Michael and Janice (nee Westcott) Smith.
Ellianna was a seventh-grade student at Sailor Middle School in Vermilion, where her artistic talents flourished. She found joy in painting, crafting, and drawing, often expressing her creativity through various artistic mediums. Ellianna loved to dance and swim, finding delight in the company of her family and friends. She had a particular fondness for rescuing butterflies, reflecting her gentle and compassionate nature. With a smile that could brighten any room, Ellianna’s spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Janice Smith; her brother, Dylan Smith; and her beloved twin sisters, Makenna and Makayla Smith. Ellianna is also survived by her grandparents, Julee (Shawn) Taylor and Linda Smith, who will forever cherish her memory.
The family invites friends to pay their respects on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, located at 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral center.
