Elnor Collier's Obituary
Elenor F. Collier (nee Bowling), age 77, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at her home while under the care of New Life Hospice and her daughter, Vickie.
She was born September 18, 1935 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Mont and Margie (nee Collins) Bowling and has resided in Lorain for the past 48 years.
Eleanor was a member of Christian Life Church and active in the Women's Auxiliary of the Church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Collier, of Jackson, OH and Joe Collier of Wakeman; her daughters, Teresa Frasure, of Lorain, Brinda Mullins, of Cambridge, OH, and Vickie Johns, of Lorain; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Hubert D. Collier and her daughter, Melinda Hall.
The Collier Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Rev. Wallace Justice, pastor, of Christian Life Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
