Eugene Wozniak's Obituary
Eugene D. Wozniak, age 85, of Lorain, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 while under hospice care.
He was born April 3, 1927, in Lorain, Ohio to the late Wesley and Tillie Wozniak. He lived his entire life in Lorain.
He worked as a carpenter by trade.
He attended Kingdom Hall as a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lorain. He was also an elder of the congregation.
He was an avid bible reader and enjoyed visiting people and teaching the Bible.
Eugene is survived by his daughter, Laura Singer (nee Wozniak); his grandchildren, Gina Singer, Ryan Singer and Celeste Singer; and his brother, James Wozniak, of Sandusky.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Shirley (nee Cullen) in 1995; his son, Mark Wozniak, in 1962; his sister, Helen Endrai, and his brothers, John and Michael Wozniak.
The family invites friends to a memorial service on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2330 E Skyline Dr, Lorain. Bro. Jim Drysdale will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, handled the arrangements.
