Eve L. Velez's Obituary
Eve L. Velez, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Born on November 22, 1954, in Lorain, Ohio, to Walter and Marie (née Niederweiser) Roth, Eve dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a loving mother, devoted to her two children, and took great pride in their achievements.
Eve had a deep love for nature and spent much of her time tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed crafting, particularly creating beautiful pieces with beach glass. Her love for animals, especially her beloved cats, was well known among her family and friends. Eve had a special talent for bringing people together, keeping in touch with loved ones across the country, and making everyone feel connected.
Her strong faith was a guiding force in her life, and she remained a devout Catholic throughout her years. Eve will be dearly missed by her son, Brandon Velez; daughter, Angel Velez; grandchildren, R.J. Isler, Leilani Velez, and Isabella Abrams; her life partner, Tim Kenska; her brothers, William (Pam) and Joseph Roth; and her sister, Anna Roth. She is reunited in peace with her parents, Walter and Marie Roth; sister, Christine Sexton; sister-in-law, Judy Roth; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Sexton.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 555 N. Ridge Road, Lorain, OH.
