Everett L. Conley's Obituary
Everett L. Conley, 72, of Lorain, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Avon.
Born September 2, 1953, in Lorain, Ohio, he was the son of the late Troy and Eula (née Kinney) Conley.
Everett dedicated more than 22 years of service as a custodian for the Sheffield and Sheffield Lake School Systems. He was a hardworking and dependable employee who took great pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.
Music was one of Everett’s greatest passions. A gifted musician, he played both the guitar and drums and spent many years performing as a member of a polka band. He was an avid fan of the bands Rush and Dream Theater and enjoyed sharing his love of music with others. Everett was also a talented artist who expressed his creativity through drawing and painting. In addition, he had a lifelong appreciation for hot rod cars and enjoyed watching episodes of Grease Monkey Garage. A private man by nature, Everett was happiest spending time at home and enjoying the things he loved most.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Koltas; niece, Laura Berchak; and nephews, Sean Conley, Bob Koltas, Rocky Koltas, and David Koltas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Danny Conley; and his brother, Gary Conley.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Private family interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
