Frances E. Tovalin's Obituary
Frances E. Tovalin, age 87, of Lorain passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.
She was born on December 24, 1928 in Latrobe, PA to Clyde and Dora Clark.
Frances made her career for over 20 years as an instructor at the Lorain Institute of Cosmetology where she retired from. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, and watching the television show Jeopardy. Her true enjoyment came from the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Casey.
She is survived by her daughter, Alece Deichler, of Lorain; grandchildren, Francisco (Kay) Deichler, of Lorain and Frances Encalado, of San Diego, CA; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Francisco, Cierra, Thalia and Hannah.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Francisco “Frank” Tovalin, in 2015; parents, Clyde and Dora Clark; and her sister, Colleen Fritchtel.
The Tovalin family will receive friends on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Edward Smith, will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
