Frank J. Romot's Obituary
Frank J. Romot, age 90, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Avon Cleveland Clinic. He was born on July 8, 1930 in Lorain, Ohio to Joseph and Phyllis (nee Uleski) Romot.
Frank worked as a Crane Foreman at U.S. Steel from 1950 until his retirement in 1985. He had a passion for boating his entire life and truly enjoyed his time out the water with his family and fellow boaters. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Scott (Kim) Romot,of Florida; Tim (Rose) Romot,of Texas; and Michelle (Jim) Tucker, of Ohio; grandchildren, Sara (Michael) Parkinson, Heather (Mike) Drew, Ashley (Kyle) Hager, Kyle Tucker, Michael Romot, and Stephanie (Moi) Champo; great-grandchildren, Taylor Parkinson, Liam Parkinson, and Max Drew.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia (nee Mrosko) Romot, son, Mark Romot; parents, Joseph and Phyllis Romot; brother, Joseph Romot; and his sister, Helen Romot.
Private family funeral services were held under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center at Calvary Cemetery, in Lorain.
