Frank Sirse Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Sirse Jr., 69, of Oberlin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2024. Born on March 24, 1955, to Frank and Franziska (nee Adlassnig) Sirse, Frank grew up in Lorain and graduated from Elyria High School in 1973.
Frank devoted his career to the Autobody Industry, where his strong work ethic, meticulous organization, and unwavering dedication shined brightly. His patience, good-natured demeanor, and generous spirit left an indelible mark on those around him. Though he was known as a jokester who brought joy and laughter to family and friends, he was equally ready to lend a helping a hand-always offering his time, support, and kindness without hesitation or expectation of anything in return.
Frank loved fishing, trips to the casino, and cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys. A passionate sports enthusiast, he coached his son’s baseball team and traveled extensively to support his grandchildren at their sporting events. Always on the lookout for a good deal, Frank found joy in life’s simple pleasures and cherished his time with loved ones.
He is survived by his children, Erin (James Roman) Mason, Frank (Julie) Sirse III, and Caitlin (Will Krider) Sirse; step-daughter, Jennifer Dillon; bonus daughters, Cassidy Escalante and Charlotte Escalante; grandchildren, Justin Mason, Daylon Mason, Kensington Mason, Caleb Dunn, Connor Dunn, Owen Sirse, Ellisyn Sirse, Keira Dillon, Katherine Dillon, Weston Stowers, and Mia Escalante; his mother, Franziska Sirse; sister, Sonja (Jim) Love; cherished grand pup, Pike; and nephew, Eric Neuberger. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sirse.
