Frank Allen Stuller, age 65, of Lorain, passed away February 2, 2015 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, in Lorain.
He was born in Lorain on November 28, 1949, to Frank and Barbara (nee Mihalic) Stuller. Frank graduated from Marion L. Steel High School in 1967. He spent the summers of 1967 and 1968 on the Great Lakes aboard the S.S. Benjamin F. Fairless and the S.S. Arthur M. Anderson. He attended Case Institute of Technology/Case Western Reserve University. He joined the Merchant Marines and traveled to many places in the Pacific Ocean. He returned to Lorain and started his career with Lorain Products in 1970. He retired from Marconi in 2002. Frank enjoyed his many years with the company, especially when he traveled to various places in the U.S.
Frank was an outdoorsman and enjoyed the solitude of nature. His farm in the country was more his home than his city dwelling. He and his friends shared many enjoyable times hunting and fishing. Frank was most thankful for his dedicated and caring friends, neighbors, and care givers. He was grateful for their friendship and their help through the years as his multiple sclerosis progressed.
Frank is survived by his aunts, Hilda Mihalic and Mary Shinsky, and his many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James and Robert.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Frank’s life on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
