Frederick M. Tucker's Obituary
Frederick M. Tucker, age 61, of Lorain, passed away very unexpectedly on Friday, April 23, 2021.
He was born on February 3, 1960 in Lorain, and is a 1978 graduate of Clearview High School. Frederick served his country while in the United States Airforce from 1986 until his honorable discharge in 1990. While serving, he was awarded the Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and a Training Ribbon.
He worked for Bay Mechanical and Engineering Corporation.
Fred truly had a zest for life. He never met a person that he did not love and everyone Fred knew, loved him in return. Family was the most important thing in the world to him. He and his wife both shared a passion for rescuing and fostering cats and kittens, working through Storm’s Angels Rescue. Fred also loved going fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, JoEllen (Clotz), Son, Jared Tucker (Trisha), daughter,
Katelyn Bandagski (Joey), step daughters, Michelle Michalski and Amy Velez (Jon),
grandchildren, Layla McCall, Carson, Carter, Camdyn, and Chayse Bandagski.
Aubrey and Kylie Velez and Luca Tucker, sisters, Rosalie Dorinski (Eugene Sr),
Donna StClair (Thomas), Martha Fortney (Charles), Cheryl Jonni (Christopher), and
MaryJo Barnett (Gary), and brothers, James Tucker (Loretta), Joseph Tucker
(Diane), Dennis Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Bernice (Rodak) Tucker,
brother-in-laws, Eugine Dorinski, Charles Fortney, and Christopher Johnni,
nephews, David Dorinski, Michael Hall and niece, Jamie Fortney. He is also
preceded in death by his beloved dog, Bailey.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 30th, from 3:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 7:00 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Military honors will follow his funeral service and will be conducted by the Amherst Military Veterans Honor Guard. In honor of Fred, the family urges that everyone attending should wear their favorite Hoodie and Baseball Cap.
