Frowdie Counts' Obituary
Frowdie Counts, age 81, of LaGrange, went home to be with the Lord and join his beloved wife, Marilyn, and his son, Charles, on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Willard, and sisters, Memoree and Dean.
Born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia, the son of William and Vienna (Adkins) Counts, he spent his years enjoying life in the country.
In his early years, Frowdie worked in the coal mines but then relocated to Cleveland, Ohio where he met his wife Marilyn and married her in February, 1952. Frowdie worked for 30 years at Ford Motor Company until he retired.
He had a passion for fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his daughters and son, Suzin (Rick) Wheeler, of Lorain, Carolyn (Larry) Moore, of Lorain, Karen (John) Puskavich, of Lorain, Millard Roy Counts, of Lorain, Brenda (William) Kerlin, of LaGrange, and Denise (Dean) Slusher, of Grafton, 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. He was the last of his generation.
Services will be private for the family.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, handled the arrangements.
