Gale Berry's Obituary
Gale A. Berry, age 57, of Amherst, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at The Cleveland Clinic following a several month illness.
She was born on June 1, 1954 in Lorain, and resided in the area her entire life. She graduated from Southview High School.
Gale believed in God and was a Catholic.
She enjoyed the beauty of flowers and took pleasure in gardening. Gale devoted much time to her African Gray Parrot named "Flower".
She is survived by her mother, Carol Dudukovich (nee Campo); her brother, Daniel Dudukovich, of Oberlin; her sisters, Anita Ramos, of Lorain, Christine Shulman, of Novelty, OH, Tammie Carter, of Florida, and Margie Smarsh, of Lorain; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Berry; her brother, Michael Dudukovich and the uncle who raised her, Emery Campo.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8th from 5-7 p.m. in Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Closing Prayers will be said Friday, March 9th at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Center followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James R. Ols, Pastor, will officiate. Private family interment will be held.
