Garrett E. Little Jr.'s Obituary
Garrett E. Little Jr. 44, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio. Garrett was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. In his spare time, Garrett enjoyed gardening, exploring nature, eagle watching, Cedar Point, four wheeling, fishing, landscaping, campfires, and being outdoor in general. Garrett found his most peace being at the lake or around water. Garrett never hesitated to stop and help a person in need. Garrett was loved by many and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family making memories. One of his unique talents was the ability to predict the weather and tell time solely by the sun.
Garrett was a jack of all trades and a fixer of anything. Garrett spent his professional life as a CNC Machinist and was employed at Elyria Machine Company. Garrett was a proud graduate from Lorain County Joint Vocational School for Precision Machine Technology.
Garrett is survived by the love of his life, Heather M. Rider, his son Jacob A. Little whom he could not be more proud of. Father, Garrett E. Little Sr. (Susan “Mama Sue”); Sisters, Theresa M. Little, Patricia L. Sinley (Little), and Savanah L. Poplin (Christopher); Brothers, Robert E. Little, Russell T. Little (Kelsi), Jason Holland, and Michael J. Vasi (Jennifer).
Garrett has many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Garrett is also leaving behind his fur babies; Mila, Simba, Kaiser, and Talon.
Garrett was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen M. Stevens (Schmidt).
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1st, 2024 from 3:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 7:00 pm at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
