Georgene Skufeeda's Obituary
Georgene Skufeeda (nee Zakutny), of Miamisburg, OH, formerly of Lorain, passed at her home on, March 1, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born in Lorain, OH on December 9, 1933, to George & Josephine Zakutny. Georgene married Norman Joseph Skufeeda on September 6, 1958. She was a devoted member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Lorain.
Georgene is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Rob) Lavorgna, of Bay Village, OH & Diane (Robert) Sheffield, of Miamisburg, OH; granddaughter, Tesia (James) Mallory; great grandchildren, Julian & Leland; and a brother, Daryl (Pat) Zakutny. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Skufeeda, her parents, and a brother, Mike Zakutny.
The family will receive friends for her inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor of St. Peter’s Church and Nativity of the BVM, will officiate.
