Gerald "Ed" Edward Cole's Obituary
Gerald Edward “Ed” Cole, age 79, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Mercy New Hospice. He was born on March 25, 1943 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Clarence and Ann Cole.
For over 40 years, Ed made his career as a supervisor for Arrow Aluminum Casting Company, in Avon Lake. He was a long-time member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Ed enjoyed playing golf. Above all, he loved spending time and supporting all his grandchildren’s numerous activities, traveling all over to watch them.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dolores (nee Boledovic); children, Eddie Cole, Lisa (Scott) Crapo, and Linda (Randy) Jarvis; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jim (Connie) Cole.
Ed was preceded in death by his daughters, Denise L. Bartko, and Kimberly Cole-Duncan; parents Clarence and Ann Cole; and his brother Ronnie Cole.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
