We just learned of the passing of Jerry Rieth. He and his wife were neightbors of my parents for many years in Lorain, Ohio. My husband and I were vere close to both Jerry and his wife. Peanie helped me plan my wedding. We loved them both. My husband, Jerry played tennis with Jerry several times. After we moved out of Ohio, we enjoyed playing Bridge with them on our visits from Atlanta, GA. We want to express our deepest sympathy to the family. We cared alot for Jerry. He was a very friendly and warm person and will be missed greatly by his wife, sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dear Tom and Jim,
My thoughts, prayers and wishes of comfort are sent to you and your families.
I had the privilege of getting to know Gerry a few years back when I was allowed to join him and his other "Fossil League" members (mind you there was probably a 50 year age difference between myself and the others) for early morning tennis at Fox Creek Racquet Club. Needless to say, Gerry's quick wit meant there was always a joke/comment soon to come.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Rieth family.

I feel not only for the Rieth family but also as a loss of a true friend that I admired.
It has been a privlige knowing the Rieth family through the years and I through knowing them all feel that I am a better person because of it.
My prayers go to the family
God bless all of you
Sincerely,
Steve Toth
Jim, Tom, Helen and family, I am so sorry for such a great loss. Your dad was always so kind to me and no matter what was going on, he always had a humorous story to tell. He always looked on the bright side of things and lived life to the fullest. He always told me to enjoy the small things. All of you will be in my prayers and please give your mom my deepest sympathy. With love to everyone. Joann
