Geraldine M. Diedrick's Obituary
Geraldine Deidrick, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on May 23, 1933, Geraldine lived a long and beautiful life centered on love, family, and kindness. She was a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Geraldine found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her.
She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire her family for generations to come. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts, we are profoundly grateful for the many years, lessons, and precious moments we shared with her.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Steve Staszak, whose life was cut short by illness, her second husband, Edward Deidrick, her beloved daughter, Kimberly, and her cherished great-granddaughter, Maiya.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Diane) Staszak and Kathy (Lou) Vasquez; Grandchildren Alicia, Lou, Nathan, Steven, Christina, and David; many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 10-11 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 115 Central Drive, Amherst, OH 44001. Funeral services will begin immediately following at 11 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.
Geraldine will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
