Gilbert Linderman's Obituary
Gilbert L. Linderman Sr., age 68, of Wellington passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at his home under the care of New Life Hospice.
He was born on May 31, 1949 in Connellsville, PA to Gilbert and Mary Louise (nee Ritter) Linderman.
Gilbert retired as a driver for Ford Motor Company in 2001. He loved animals, especially horses, and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was the quite the storyteller and was also known to be a prankster. Above everything he loved his family. He will always be remembered by his family as the “Best Papa” and “Best Father Ever”.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Raedene (nee Smith); children, Gilbert (Marina) Linderman Jr.,of Wellington, Christopher (Cassie) Linderman, of North Olmsted, and Shannon (Adam) Malicki, of Elyria; grandchildren, Samantha Linderman, Adam Malicki Jr., Christian Malicki, Eva Malicki, and Amelia Linderman; brother, Randall Linderman; and his sisters, Gail Nicolo, and Candace Kocak.
The Linderman family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral center. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
