Glenn Ray "Chew" Eubank's Obituary
Glenn Ray “Chew” Eubank, age 86, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain.
Born February 7, 1939, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, he worked in a coal mine for 10 years before moving to Lorain in 1967. Glenn worked for Ford Motor Company where he dedicated 32 years of his life before retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 2000, and enjoyed woodworking, listening to country and bluegrass music, spending time with his family, word search puzzles and he was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his children, Paula Weaver, of Sheffield Township and Marvin Eubank, of Senatobia, MS; grandchildren, Kaleb, Kody and Korrie (Scott) Dabbs and Sarah Cox; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Reagan, Mayson, Parker, Jaxson and Madilyn; siblings, Laken Eubank, Stanley (Oma) Eubank, and Paul (Jalena) Eubank; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Geneva (nee Schrader) Eubank who passed in 2015, parents, Troy and Lillie (nee Clifton) Eubank; a brother in infancy, Leslie Eubank; and his cherished four-legged companion, Bella.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22nd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where funeral services will be on Friday, May 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Tony Mannon, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
