Gloria B. Byrd's Obituary
Gloria B. Byrd (nee Guidicelli), of Sheffield Lake, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was married to the late Joe. D. Byrd for 23 years, who passed away in 2007.
Gloria lived in Lorain and later moved to Sheffield Lake. She attended Clearview High School and was a former employee at Broadway Lanes for 15 years.
Gloria enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gardening, casino trips, and cheering on the Cleveland Guardians. She especially loved her time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include her children, who were the loves of her life, James E. Hreha, Jr., of Lorain, Ron (Kim) Hreha, of NC, Rick Hreha, of RI, Judith Williams, of KY and Gloria Hreha (Frank), of TX; grandchildren, Christina Hreha (Mark), Kyle Hreha (Katrina), Ronnie Hreha Jr. (Emily), Jake Griffore, Jason Williams (Jacque) and Jordan Williams Walker (Collin); great-grandchildren, Marissa Quillen, Mason Quillen, C.J. Williams, and Alyx Williams; and her siblings, Harold Guidicelli, Gladys Delgado, Linda Guidicelli, Darlene Guidicelli, Irvin Guidicelli, and Andres Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto Luis Guidicelli and Matilde Santiago Guidicelli; stepmother, Juanita Cosme Guidicelli; brothers Edwin Guidicelli and Julio Garcia; sisters Rosie Davila and Rosa Garcia, and daughter-in-law Diana L. Hreha.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 12:00 pm at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Her interment will immediately follow her funeral service at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
