Hector Luis Feliciano Sr.'s Obituary
Hector Luis Feliciano Sr., 68, passed away on October 14, 2018 surrounded by loving family after a lengthy illness. He was born June 19, 1950 in Lares, Puerto Rico and moved to Lorain in 1961.
He worked at Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Gladys Feliciano, (nee Rivera); mother Lydia Perez, step-mother Mary Feliciano; sons Jimi Feliciano of Port Charlotte, Florida and Hector (Janet) Feliciano Jr. of Avon Lake, and daughters Jessica Bauer, Leticia (Jeff) Tillman, Alicia (Derrick) Monroe; grandchildren Arrielle Feliciano, Cameron Kuhar, Tyana Malone, Larry Thomas Jr., Jaylen Thomas, Omarion Thomas, Christian Melendez, Isabella Monroe, Elias Feliciano, and Savannah Monroe; and siblings Jose (Margaret) Feliciano, Mildred Roman, David (Minerva)Feliciano, Judy (Jobany) Acevedo, Edwin (Lillian) Acevedo, Humberto (Angie) Acevedo, Carmen Acevedo, Sigfredo Acevedo, Yolanda Acevedo, Elsa (Tony) Acevedo, Maribel Acevedo, and Mayra (Neftali) Acevedo. He was preceded in death by his father Juan A. Feliciano and brother Edgar Acevedo.
He was a skilled handyman and enjoyed DIY projects. He was an avid league bowler (in which he achieved a perfect 300 game), and enjoyed golfing, fishing, cars, and especially spending time with family and friends. His greatest and most valued treasure in life was the time he was able to spend with his family and his friends. He was a big fan of the Indians and Browns.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 4:00 pm until the time of his service at 7:30 pm., in the Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
