She traveled extensively with her friends from work, even driving to Acapulco, Mexico, the Canadian Rockies, and California. She visited relatives in her parents' home country of Croatia. Italy was a favorite country to visit, especially Rome. Her last trip was to Cancun, Mexico, with family and friends to celebrate her 97th birthday, an over-the-top celebration.
