Dear Karen , I know you do not know me but your mother and I went all through Central High School together and I spent time at your grandmothers house for sleep overs. You mother was very special to me and although we haven't seen her since she brought your grandmothers ashes back to Evansville to lay them beside her son Rolf she has never been far from my mind. We woudl exchange Christmas Cards and she would write in them. Your mother was an A student and a cheer leader and everyone loved her. The world is a poorer place today because she is not in it. I can close my eyes and see her in her cheer leading outfit. Know that I share your sorrow and will remember you in prayer. Losing a parent is a very hard thing. Please pass on hughs to your borhters and your dad. It has to be so hard for him. We live in Owensboro, Kentucky and I married my high school sweetheart Corky Steinmetz he also knows your mother. We both want you to know how sorry we are about your loss.

Dear Karen, Kevin, Keith and Mr. Tully,

How often I have thought of your family. My folks still live in Parma Heights and whenever I go to visit them, I drive down Newkirk and fondly remember my childhood- so much of it with time spent at the Tully home with my "bestest-estest friend" Karen.

I remember how your Mom always made me feel at home (which wasn't too hard since I think we had identical floorplans)!

The last time I saw your family would have been at Karen's wedding many moons ago but I can picutre your Mom quite clearly.

I am sorry to hear of her loss at a relatively young age. I remember her with great fondness- I think she was a good "second Mom" for me in those years before the age of ten.

Have been praying for your family and thanking God for having the Tully family as part of my early years.

Dear Karen,

My mom & I were recently reminiscing about days of scouting and camp-outs, and many of those events included your mom. My mom's memories are of a very quiet and well organized leader, whose company she really enjoyed. My memories are of a very kind person who was supportive of me, even when it may not have been deserved. She welcomed me into her home, and at times I know I overstayed, as you & I endlessly played with Barbie dolls. Your mom was a positive influence on me at that time of my life, and a good friend to my mom. My mom asked me to include her on this message, as she doesn't see well enough to type anymore, but wanted you to know that her thoughts too, are with you and your family.
