I miss her so much, was a very sweet kind person she was my great aunt, always had a smile on her face and a very active person!! :)
Irene was my confirmation Godmother in 1968. She and her husband, Mike, always spent time with my family and me, as did her son, Mickey. She was the best example of a good Christian lifestyle. I will always remember going for visits to her house near Admiral King High School. She had the nicest house on the block! She always had nice treats for us, even if it was a surprise visit. My parents always looked up to the Hellis and enjoyed their company, too. I will always remember her strong, lovely voice coming from the choir area on the top floor of St. Lad's.
Mickey, you have my deepest sympathy on the passing of your mom. I will always remember her lovingly. You take good care of yourself.
