Please accept my sympathies on your Mom's passing. I have many fond memories of lunches at Pat Joyce when I worked downtown and she was at the Board of Ed as well as getting to spend time with her when she visited Aunt Sis in FL. Your Mom was a great lady with a sometimes-salty sense of humor and an infectious laugh. I can almost hear the sound of pinochle cards shuffling somewhere in heaven. I hope your own memories of your Mom will comfort you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I can't believe that is was back this January that I called your mom about my mom being sick, and she insisted that you and her drive me to the hospital. I am so happy that Irene got to see her before my mom passed away. It gives me some comfort though to know that my mom now has someone in heaven to play cards with. May your memories of Irene comfort you during this time.
