Jacob Tyler Castro-White's Obituary
Jacob Tyler Castro-White was born on February 11, 1993 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin, OH, the son of Jeffrey Allen White and Cynthia Marie Castro-White. He had one older sibling, his brother Joshua. Jacob attended Amherst public schools through high school, graduating from Amherst Steele High School in 2011. He attended Lorain County Community College for the last several years, majoring in business entrepreneurship.
He worked for his uncles at Scorchers in Lorain as a bartender, and was working on turning his fitness passion into a personal training certification that he could use to help others achieve their goals as well. His main passion was bodybuilding, something he attacked with a joy and gusto unrivaled elsewhere in his life. He entered a number of competitions throughout his life, competitions that took him from Kentucky to Pennsylvania, and he was constantly improving with every performance. Jacob also loved movies, and had an impressive (if highly eclectic) collection of favorites that he loved to delve into, from traditional horror flicks to cheesy martial art films, and just about everything in between. His memory of movie ratings, dates, and other trivia was bordering on legendary, and he loved showing off his knowledge to anyone and everyone.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Allen White, of Elyria; and Cynthia Marie Castro-White, of Lorain; brother, Joshua (Ashley) Castro, of Rocky River; grandparents, Wilfred and Mary Castro; Uncles, Wil Castro Jr., Dennis Castro, and Kevin (Jamie) Castro; aunt, Lori (Bob) Hritsko; his girlfriend, Holly Litz; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Keith Castro.
