Dear Tom:
I'm Sorry for your loss.
All though I was only 14 / 15 years old
I remember your Mother and Father ( and Family )
They were both very patient with us as we practiced our
music in their/your basement.
Well...heck they had to be saints to let their child take up playing "The Drums". !
( My self, David Woody, Dennis Thorne, Yourself ), your brother would join us.
The Grocery Store that my parents owned and operated right down the street from your parents, is now gone.
Hey...maybe your Mother and Father let me in their house because I am Hungarian.
( That was in reference to your Father receiving Hungarian Of The Year award. )
It's been a few years my friend, and I am truly sorry for your loss.

To the family, you have our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We just adored Mr. Hanna. I am glad to have called him neighbor, friend and family. I often referred to him as a 2nd Grandfather. I enjoyed getting to know him over the last 12 years. He would share stories from throughout his life, from graduating high school and heading off to war, to driving the taxis in downtown Lorain, to his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and of course the love of his life, Mary Rose, in whom I also had the pleasure of knowing as well. How his eyes would brighten up when he spoke of all him family. He was very proud of all of you. He was a true gentleman, patriot and friend. He also shared many photos of his family and he and MaryRose, and might I add that he was such a handsome man, and his bride, "a beauty" as he referred to her on several occasions. I know they loved to go dancing and I remember seeing them taking walks down the street hand in hand. I have many fond memories of Mr . Hanna, but my favorite was dancing with him at my church's picnic (Nativity BVM). He was a terrific dancer and lead, even when dancing with a girl with two left feet. I will never forget that moment as long as I live. I know that now he is dancing in heaven with Mary Rose and the Angels. We will miss seeing his smiling face and hearing his sweet hello's. What a sweet, kind and compassionate man! Mabel says she misses him too! Ruff! I am so very thankful to have crossed paths with Mr. Hanna. May he rest in peace and enjoy his reunion with his family, friends, the Angels and the Lord in heaven! - Love, Holly and Josh Preece
