My memories of all my friends in Amherst are still very strong, even though I moved to North Carolina several years ago. I count Jim Loos and his wife Mary as some of those friends, and was very sorry to hear about his passing. My thoughts are with Mary now. I remember Jim as someone with a twinkle in his eye, a smile on his face and a sly sense of humor. He gave unfailingly of his time and talent to the parish and to St. Joseph School where I worked with Mary for so many years. May god bless you and comfort you at this time. Diane Yale Peabody

Prayers to the Loos family. I have had the privilege of knowing Jim the last 19 years. We got teamed up together at rebmans on tuesday nights. Got to win a couple of championships together and have alot of great times. He will be greatly missed by everyone on the team. Plus i will miss him making fun of me everytime i brought him my truck smashed up. Especially after i wrecked it 2 weeks after they fixed it
