I knew her as the loving Mom of Joe and Jonathon---first in line to sign up for
the Hawthorne Academy magnet program, Lorain City Schools, and a wonderful
support to me, as Supervisor of that Program. My love and sympathy to all her

My heart is so sad with the passing of Janet...her laugh, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping others have always been an inspiration. I will never forget our crazy drives to LHS in her little orange Buick Opel!!! ❤️🙏

Janet was a fun and loving person. I met her at the Lutheran Home, where we both worked as LPN's. We took many our out dinner breaks together. We shared family stories and just had some good laughs, We both went different directions in life, then one day I received a call from Janet. She was working as an RN at St. Joes, in labor and delivery. She was happy and loved her job. She suggested I apply for a position there in L & D. She said I would be great at it because I was dedicated to my profession and always wanted to work in L & D. So I applied and was offered the position. I loved working with her again. She always had a smile and a laugh that would only be Janet. I loved her and will miss her dearly. My sincere sympathy to the family. May my dear friend rest in peace. Kathy Kukes
