Janice M. Archie's Obituary
Janice M. Archie (nee Sennhenn), age 61, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic following a short illness.
She was born on February 18, 1952 in Lorain, Ohio to James and Jeanette (nee Ploszaj) Sennhenn. Janice graduated from Lorain High School in 1970. She made her career as a switchperson operator at Centurytel in Lorain for 40 years, retiring in October 2012.
Janice enjoyed traveling to casino’s and cooking. She especially loved talking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, John (Jennifer) Sennhenn Sr., of Lorain; sister-in-law, Barb Sennhenn, of Elyria; aunt, Elizabeth (Tony) Bascone; niece, Amy (Mario) Ruiz; nephews, James (Amanda) Sennhenn, Jason Sennhenn and John Sennhenn Jr., and Jarrod Sennhenn; long time companion, Tim Bobel and his son, Phil; and many other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jeanette Sennhenn; and brother, James Sennhenn Jr.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 2:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral center immediately following the visitation. Rev. Fr. Daniel Divas, Pastor of St. Mary’s Parish, Lorain will officiate. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
