Jarred Stephen Lucas' Obituary
Jarred Stephen Lucas, age 28 of Lorain passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. He was born on January 18, 1994, in Lorain, Ohio to Stephen and Michelle (nee Nagy) Lucas.
He was a 2012 graduate of Vermilion High School. Jarred was employed as an electrician with Illuminations Lighting Design.
Jarred was deeply committed to his spirituality. He was a recent graduate from the Alpha House and a member of Celebrate Recovery. He loved clothes, shoes, and vacationing. His family was very important to him, and he loved spending time with them, especially his little brother, Tristan. Jarred had a huge heart and didn’t know a stranger.
He is survived by his son, Alex Lucas; mother, Michelle Lucas; father, Stephen Lucas; brothers, Justin (Tiara) Lucas, and Tristan Kelley; grandparents, Lori and Dave Nagy, and Brenda Mutter, and John Lucas; aunts, Ariel Hill, Sue Kosky, Stefanie Chritton; nephews, Zayden and Xander Lucas; and many cousins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd. at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral center. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made in memory of Jarred to House of Praise Church International Church, 4321 Elyria Ave., Lorain, OH 44055 or to Gods Soldier Ministries.
