Jason "Jlap" Dunlap's Obituary
Jason “Jlap” Dunlap, age 54, of Galloway, OH, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2023 at Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland.
He was born on April 1, 1968 in Lorain and is a 1986 graduate of Admiral King High School. In 1988 he and his beloved wife moved to Columbus where they have lived since. Jason loved sports, especially football. He was his son’s biggest fan and was always at his football games to cheer him on. He also loved staying up on the latest trends in fashion and always coordinating every outfit he wore, which is something he and his daughter shared in common. He proudly wore the brown & orange as well as the scarlet & gray in support of his beloved Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. Along with the Browns and Buckeyes, he always enjoyed rooting for the Indians and Cav’s, his other home-town teams.
Jason is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Brunilda “Bruni” (nee Gonzalez) and his children, Amya & Isaiah Dunlap.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennett & Sandra Abston.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of his services at 12:00 pm in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
