Jeffrey Gula's Obituary
Jeff Gula, age 28, of Amherst, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
He was born on August 24, 1987 in Lorain and has lived in this area his entire life. He was a 2006 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School. After graduation, he continued his education at EHOVE, studying Boat Maintenance. He was currently employed at Brady Plumbing as a plumber. Jeff was a member of Cornerstone Community Church, Amherst. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and watching Nascar. Jeff was always staying busy finding things to tinker with. He also loved having his dogs around him.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Ashley Linn, his daughters; Emaleigh Ryan(Sarah Ockajik), Audrey Eryn, and Charlotte Mae, his mother, Barb Gula(Chad Moss), of Amherst, his father, Arthur Gula, of Elyria, sister, Harmony Moon, of Cleveland, maternal grandmother, Ruth Williams, of Amherst, and paternal grandparents; Art and Pat Gula, of NC.
Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ron Williams.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 4:00 PM, until the time of memorial service at 7:00 PM, at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, Amherst. Rev. Dave McNeeley, Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to any First Merit Bank, where a memorial fund has been set up there for his surviving daughters. Contributions may also be sent to Cornerstone Community Church, 111 S. Lake Street, Amherst, Ohio, 44001.
