Jerry W. Belcher's Obituary
Jerry W. Belcher, age 62, of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at EMH Regional Medical Center.
Born on August 19, 1952 in Lorain, he resided here his entire life.
Jerry worked as a truck driver for several companies for 30 years, retiring in 2001 from FAK Trucking. He received several “Five Year Safety Awards” for his driving. He also belonged to the “Million Mile Club” for all of his miles traveling on the road.
A C.B. radio enthusiast, he was known by the handle “Renegade”. Jerry belonged to the Firelands Archery Club in Berlin Heights and the Lobo Archery Club in Lorain.
He previously attended the former Euclid Avenue Baptist Church in Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Stephanie (nee Horinek); his brother, David (Shirley) Noonan, of Lorain; his sisters, Connie (Ron) Brown, of Trophy Club, TX, and Anita (Jack) Jewell, of Crown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Eva Belcher and his brother, Willard Noonan.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12th from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where funeral services will be on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
